Whether you’re just getting started or you’ve been at it for years, we’d love to see what you’re making. Empyrean Roots features Black designers and makers from across the diaspora, and we want to tell your story and help people bring your work home.
How it works
Tell us about your work
Fill out the form below. It takes about 10 minutes, and you don’t need to have it all figured out.
We take a look
We read every submission. If it feels like a fit, we’ll email you to set up a quick call.
We talk it through
We’ll get to know you and your work, and figure out what makes sense: a feature, selling on the site or something else.
Make it official
Before we feature you, you’ll sign our Feature & Media Release. If you’re selling with us, we’ll go over that agreement too.
You’re on the site
We’ll send you your bio and quotes to check before anything goes live. Then we share your work with the people who’ll love it.
What we look for
- Work made by Black designers, makers and studios
- Real craft and a point of view you can see in the work
- Pieces made for the home, from furniture and lighting to textiles, ceramics and art
- Honest timelines, so we can set the right expectations with customers
