Shop the Space

This feature brings spaces envisioned with products made by the diaspora, anchored by an original art piece from talented artists. It’s a way for us to show what’s possible and inspire you to think differently about the rooms in your home.

Room for the WorkEvery room here starts with a piece of Black art. We build the space around it, so the work gets the room it deserves and you can see how it could live with you.

This room started with North Star, 2023 by Corinne Slade. We pulled the warm, layered tones from the painting, wrapped the walls in a soft olive and peach print, and layered in our first ER Studio velvet sofa, a Gee’s Bend quilted ottoman and a lounge chair made to live anywhere. Tap the dots to shop each piece.

We may earn a commission when you buy through links on this page. It never changes the price you pay or what we feature. Read our disclosures

Where to find the [art]work

We don't sell the art you see in these rooms. There are already so many great places to find Black fine art, and they do it well. Here are some of our favorites.
